MICHAEL J. WEBER has represented corporations and individuals in disputes over patents, trademarks, trade secrets, non-competition covenants, and other issues that typically arise in technology-driven industries.  He is often involved in multi-jurisdictional disputes and cases involving the interplay between the laws of different states or between state and federal law.  These cases have led to appearances in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Supreme Courts of California and Illinois, and numerous state and federal appellate courts.

Mr. Weber graduated, summa cum laude , from the University of Miami School of Law in 1991.  He served as interim judicial clerk to the Honorable Irving L. Goldberg on the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and spent two years at the University of Miami teaching legal research, writing and appellate briefing skills.  Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Weber spent nearly a decade working in various management positions for large, technology-oriented corporations such as NorTel and Baxter Healthcare.  As a result of this experience, Mr. Weber is able to add a practical business perspective to the legal counsel he provides.
