VENESSA M. UREÑA possesses numerous years of experience as a paralegal which she utilizes to execute the preparation, filing and prosecution of Provisional, Design and Utility Patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
She actively assists the firm's attorneys with the prosecution of foreign patents, trademarks and copyrights. In addition, Ms. Ureña is responsible for conducting patent searches and coordinating PCT requests, Chapter II Demands as well as National Phase Filings.
Utilizing her experience in case management software, she maintains the patent docket and monitors the weekly, monthly and on-demand docket reports. Ms. Ureña manages both the domestic and foreign deposit accounts, maintaining payment of patent maintenance and annuity fees.
She is conversant in English and Spanish.
