Feldman Gale Partner Gregory l. Hillyer to Speak at 5th Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute

BETHESDA, MD – Gregory L. Hillyer, a partner with the intellectual property law firm of Feldman Gale, P.A., will speak at the 5th Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute, to be held at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Alexandria, Virginia on January 21, 2010. His presentation will cover the challenging, complicated and often contentious nature of patent inventorship.

The Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute is a unique series of presentations by senior USPTO officials, leading academics, practitioners and members of the judiciary covering top issues affecting patent law. Mr. Hillyer, who heads up the firm’s Bethesda office, is a Registered Patent Attorney licensed to practice in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Florida and Washington, D.C.. Mr. Hillyer is also Board Certified in Intellectual Property as accredited by the Florida Bar. He focuses his practice on the procurement and litigation of patentsin a diverse range of technical disciples including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, organic and inorganic chemistry, industrial processes, over-the-counter medicines, cosmetics, veterinary products, medical and mechanical devices, electronics, telecommunications, computer related inventions and other technologies.

A former Patent Agent for DuPont Pharmaceuticals Company, Mr. Hillyer received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York, his Masters of Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and his law degree from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University, where he graduated with honors.
